Farther Yet To Go

A twisting trail,
A tale to tell.
I’ve farther yet to go.
A winding lane,
A goal to gain.
I’ve farther yet to go.
A light to guide,
My hopes confide.
I’ve farther yet to go.
No hindrance here,
No doubt no fear.
I’ve farther yet to go.
Come join me,
With hearts set free.
We’ve farther yet to go.
No need for strife,
In this blessed life.
We’ve farther yet to go.

How great are His signs, how mighty are His wonders, His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion from generation to generation.~Dan.4:3

And we have farther yet to go, indeed we have only just begun!

The 1942 L.L.S.

The Loda L.S.

I have a 1942 model vehicle.
Its 69 years old and in excellent condition.
I make every effort to take good care of it.
 It is a vintage treasure.
I’m very careful where I park it.
I don’t leave it out in the weather,
and I certainly do not leave it where it could be dented or scratched.
I used to complain that it wasn’t as fast as the newer models,
but of late I have changed my mind.
My vehicle is one of a kind.
Made originally by a highly acclaimed builder.
It’s age qualifies it as a classic.
I never once thought of listing it for sale.
It gets me there and back
and when I hear others talk about parking their older conveyances,
I say,” not me… I’ve got too many miles to go yet.”.
 No junkyard future for me.
It has been faithful, reliable, and comfortable.
I’m fortunate and blessed to be the sole owner,
of a 1942 L.L.S.
A God designed  comfortable sedan to carry me thru this blessed and fun life…
On this day, I thank my God and Savior, Jesus Christ for this incredible journey.
